Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,

Psalm 133:1 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” I believe relational conflict is the most painful part of this life. It is inevitable, because of sin. Happy is the person who has peace in their home, peace in their church, peace in their neighborhood, and peace in their nation. Some people seem to thrive on conflict. They are damaged goods. They have not learned to enjoy the pleasures of peace and unity. Pray that God might grace you with unity in your relationships.

Pray for Bill S. He is having shoulder repair surgery today. Also pray for Anita G. She is having hip replacement surgery tomorrow.

Men’s Retreat begins on Thursday, August 3rd, at Greenbush Group Campground, site G-9, N5854 Kettle Moraine Drive, Glenbeulah, WI 53023. Camp may be set up anytime Thursday afternoon. All meals are included in the fee. Devotions on Friday morning will be brought by Pastor Charlie. Pastor Leeds will preach after dinner on Friday night. Saturday morning devotions will be brought by Pastor Shaeffer. I count 24 men and young men who are signed up.

This Wednesday we are back to our normal summer Bible studies at 7:00 p.m. I will be in Jeremiah 35 in the adult study.

A ladies trio called Forever Be Sure will be ministering to us during the teen/adult Sunday School hour and again in our morning service. I will preach a short sermon in that service. Children will have their normal Sunday School classes, but there will be no Junior Church this Sunday.

Because of the music ministry, we will not have Lord’s Table in its normal place in the morning service on the 1st Sunday of the month. Instead we will move it to the evening service this Sunday. If you are not an evening service regular, perhaps this would be a good time to begin.

I praise the Lord for the opportunity to serve Jesus today. May our lives be pleasing to God as we chase the imitation of Christ.

Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.

Pastor
