Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,
Psalm 93:1-2 The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty; The Lord is clothed, He has girded Himself with strength. Surely the world is established, so that it cannot be moved. 2 Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting.
Praise the Lord for a great day at Trinity Baptist this past Lord’s Day. I was personally blessed and encouraged by the ministry of both Pastor Shaeffer and Missionary Simonsen. We counted 91 people at church dinner! And there was great food to spare. What fun!
Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 2nd is Awana Grand Prix. The doors will open and concessions begin at 5:30 p.m. Weigh-in begins at 6:00 a.m. Racing commences at 6:30 p.m. Every car races at least 3 times! It’s Hot Dog Night. Hot dogs will be sold for $2 each. Make it a chili dog for $3. Soda and chips will be sold at $1 each.
Teen Bible study at Pastor Charlie’s is at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3rd. (By the way, Brittany is expecting a baby in October.) Ladies’ Retreat is on Friday and Saturday. I believe the car pooling from the church time is 11:20 a.m. Also Saturday, April 5th is Men’s Prayer Breakfast. Please sign up or let me know if your planning to come. We eat at 8:00 a.m. and are done by 9:30 a.m.
I am going to finish up by walk through 1 John this Sunday. I’m calling this sermon “We Can Know.” Darryl Mayes is teaching adult Sunday School this week. On Sunday evening a drama team from Maranatha Baptist University will be presenting “Operation Auca.” I believe there is still oportunity to sign up to help feed them after the evening service. Both adult and children’s choirs will be practicing this week.
It’s a busy week at TBC, but lots of fun stuff. Don’t stay away!
