This Lord’s Day we observe the Lord’s Table during our morning service. I will be preaching on the “mystery of godliness” seen in 1 Timothy 3:16. In our adult Bible study during the Sunday School hour at 8:45a, Pastor Rory begins a walk through our recently passed church covenant. Jeremy Shaeffer is our preacher at our 6:30p service.

This past Lord’s Day was Easter. During our Sunday School hour we observed a “passion” service. Pastor Rory preached from Hebrews 10 and we ate at the Lord’s Table. In the 10:00 a.m. service, I told the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection using story book pictures. In the evening service we are sharing Ruth’s story from Ruth 2.
This coming Sunday Pastor is going to be speaking 3 times! That’s likely a troubling thing to some. During the Sunday School hour I am going to talk about Baptist polity – especially as it has historically been practiced.
The Maranatha Baptist Bible College men’s soccer team is coming to Trinity Baptist this coming Lord’s Day – and not to play soccer. They are going to sing for us. They will bring specials during Sunday School opening and the morning service. During the Sunday School hour our adults teachers will be teaching Holy Spirit filling – Ephesians 5:18-21.
Come cheer on our teams on Tuesday. The girls will play Faith Lutheran at 4:30p and the guys will play Fond du Lac Christian at 6:30p. The atmosphere is fun and the concessions are great. The competition should be good too! Our teams had a great Friday night. The girls lost a very competitive game against Reedsburg and the guys furthered their undefeated streak. Come for a great evening.
Mr. Shaeffer’s birthday is today! He turns 33. Please congratulate him. We will sing to him at the games tonight!
