Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Happy Mother’s Day a day early!
Some health prayer request updates: Julaine Appling again spent 2 1/2 days. She has learned that the carcinoma in her shoulder is curable. She will soon begin 6 months of oral chemo treatments. Pray for grace and strength as she goes through this. Darryl’s tsurgery went well. The doctor said things were “tight.” He will be in pain as he recovers. Pray for he and Karrie. Pray for God’s will concerning his future/continuing employment. Kathy R had a CT scan that they said was clean except for a couple of small nodules. They will biopsy them. A team of doctors will discuss her case early next week. After that she may know treatment options. Again, pray for healing, grace, and strength.
Last night I heard a song that touched pretty deeply given the events of the past year in the lives of many of us. The words went like this:
