Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: Do you have some goals for the summer? I have begun working through my list. I am encouraged, but I know I am going to run out of summer before I run out of list!
Our school’s move continues. At church it is most noticeable in places where few people go. For instance, our school’s library is being moved to the room behind the furnace room. When was the last time you were in that room? Unless you visit Carolyn Olson’s kindergarten Sunday School class, not often.
Please pray for Mark and Janet Shaeffer. Mark had a radiation treatment in Houston yesterday before flying back to Ohio. They plan to return to Houston next week for more radiation. Jeremy believes his dad’s time on earth is short. Please pray for the Shaeffer family.
Our veteran missionaries, Charlie and JoAnn Smith will be with us on Sunday. They will be presenting their report to us during the 8:45a teen and adult Sunday School hour. Then, Charlie will be our preacher after church dinner. Come and learn how we can pray for them and partner with them in their ministry to Argentina.
It’s church dinner day! It’s hard to believe, but Sunday is the last week of the month. Bring your best summer dishes to share and enjoy the fellowship with the Congregation of God.
Pray for one another. Pray for the salvation of souls. Pray for us to hear and obey God’s Word.
