Dave R just called to say that Kathy is in recovery from surgery. Her surgeon told Dave that the success of this surgery was “nothing short of a miracle.” Praise God! Pray for her quick recovery. The short-term goal is to be healthy enough to begin chemo. Prayer does change things!
This coming Sunday – New Year’s Eve Day – the morning schedule is normal. In adult Sunday School we are going to review the WFBC resolutions for 2023. In the morning preaching I am returning to Mark and we consider the burial of Jesus. We will have no regular evening service on New Year’s Eve. Rather a great family time I call Grub N Games begins at 6:00 p.m. Bring a dish to share and a table game you’d like to play. Come for dinner and stay as long as you’d like!
Begin now to have a wonderful 2024. Spend some times with God in His Word this weekend.
