Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,
Psalm 117:1-2 Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples! 2 For His merciful kindness is great toward us, and the truth of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord!
Tonight’s youth activity has been postponed because of the expected thunderstorms.
We have received some really fun missionary letters this week. Be sure and read the inserts in the bulletin in weeks to come.
We have two sign ups on the back table (Ministry Opportunity Tables) for 2 future adult Sunday School classes. We are trying to gauge interest in a New Members Class and also a Parenting Class. If you like to attend either or both, please sign up this Sunday. This is the LAST SUNDAY TO SIGN UP. Depending upon interest, one of the classes may begin September 1st. September 1st is also Promotion Sunday. Many of our young people will be moving to a new class. This is as great time of year to get back into Sunday School if that has not ben your habit.
Tomorrow, Saturday, August 17th, at 9:30 a.m. is Mugs and Muffins at the parsonage. This is a time of fellowship for all ladies.
Sunday, August 25th, is our annual church picnic. It will be a pot luck at McDermott Park pavilion at about 12:30 p.m. The church will provide water, kool-aide, silverware, plates, cups, and serving utensils. Bring enough food for your family and more. Check out the tournaments being set up on the MOT.
I am finishing our work through the book of Hebrews this Sunday morning. The Attributes of God series continues in Sunday School. Pastor Shaeffer is our preacher on Sunday evening. We have an Outreach Committee meeting at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The better you know God, the more you will love God. The best way to know God is by spending time in His Word.
