Dear Trinity Baptist Church: 1 Timothy 1:12 “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.”
My heart is full as I consider the past two days. The Word touched hearts on Sunday morning. We had 50 gathered for pot luck fellowship and games Sunday evening. Today, I was privileged again to open God’s Word and present the gospel at the Celebration of Life we had for Barb Oechsner. Many rejoiced to hear the gospel. Over 170 were in attendance to remember Barb’s life.
I want to thank the MANY who put in much effort to gladly serve so well at the memorial service today. As my Gramma Curtis would say, “Thanks, ’til you’re better paid.” May the Lord graciously repay you all.
Awana and Bible study begin our New Year on Wednesday. Laura Denk will be presenting Seed of Hope pregnancy center in adult Sunday School this Sunday. We will be taking an offering for that pregnancy center during our benevolent offering at Lord’s Table.
Pray for one another. Pray for those who need strength – Purcells, LeAnn Murray, Janet Russell. Pray for those who are grieving – Barb’s family. Pray for the Struska family. Today is the one year anniversary of Kim’s home-going. Rejoice in the Lord!
