My grampa Curtis went to heaven last night. I am finding it a little hard to be sad. Grampa was 96. God saved grampa while he was an orphaned teenager. The 1st Baptist Church of Maustin, Wisconsin took him in. Soon he felt he had 5 mothers as there were 5 families that offered him love and help.
Life in Mozambique is always filled with excitement, and intrigue.
I just received a letter from co-workers (Mrs. Barker) in Zambia stating that her husband (Pastor Gary Barker) is having some heart problems. An EKG was done and it showed a mild abnormal pattern. This coming Wednesday he will be having some blood work done and depending on the results he may need to have a stress test.
It has been a joy to travel to all my supporting churches this past year. In many different ways each one of you have been a blessing and encouragement.
Plane tickets are in hand and Lord willing I will depart for Zambia on August 6th!
