This is the last Sunday for Sunday School classes to prepare their “Gifts for the King.” So, Timothy Class members, remember to bring your donations for the Solutions Center to Sunday School this week!
Congratulations to Coach Shaeffer and the Patriots. The guys beat out a 9 team field with 6 wins to become the first ever WACS Class B Tip-Off Tournament Champions. They went 6-0 this past Friday and Saturday at the JustAGame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells. Several of the games were tough, but the experience, character, and skills of this team prevailed. Keep working guys.
Mary Freund called me last night to say she is home. Praise the Lord. Please pray for continued strength for her as she recovers.
Dear Praying friends, I am still in Sucre…getting 25 years of “stuff” put into boxes proved to be a bigger task that was first anticipated. Still, on Tuesday of this week, I watched from the upstair window as my things were loaded onto a truck. With the house empty (but still needing much cleaning) I felt a mixture of emotions.
Our missionaries, Doug and Cheryl Boisvert, will minister with us in both Sunday School and the morning service this Lord’s Day. Doug is part of Tri-M Africa – Modular Mobile Missions. He spend many weeks a year in Africa bringing training to national pastors that they otherwise would not have the opportunity to receive.
