Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,

Psalm 19:14 “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.”

What a privilege to be in the middle of God’s work among His people. I praise the Lord for the good ministry at Trinity Baptist on the Lord’s Day. I taught classes at TBS two days this week. And I was able to attend a seminar in a church south of Madison on Tuesday. We fellowshipped with two other pastors and their wives on Tuesday evening. And we benefitted from the fellowship of many last evening at our Wednesday Bible study. In all this activity, I believe Jesus is being glorified.

Several health prayer requests were shared last evening. The daughter of a friend of David T has a toe that is very painful. Bonnie F and Pat H have sharp pain from neuralgia. Pat also is on medication for a heart condition. My Uncle Dave is receiving radiation treatments for prostrate cancer. Pastor Jeremy had some melanoma removed and will have more treatments. Lisa S’s surgery went well but will take a couple of months to heal. Crystal’s mom is not well. Suzanne G’s brother Mike hasd cancer and is on hospice care. Carolyn O needs to regain strength. Please take some time to intercede to our Heaven Father on behalf of these who are hurting.

This coming Lord’s Day we will again be in Hebrews 11 – the hall of faith. In adult Sunday School, Curt O will be teaching on the attributes of God. Pastor Shaeffer is our evening service preacher. At 5:00 p.m. on Sunday we will have both a Finance Committee Meeting and adult choir practice.

Trinity Baptist School finishes its school year with Kindergarten Graduation and Awards on Thursday, May 16th at 6:30 p.m. and then with High School Graduation at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17th. Both evenings will feature special music by a school choir.

The ladies of the church are invited to the Brakers for Mugs and Muffins on Saturday, May 18th at 9:30 a.m. Bring your favorite coffee mug and come for the fellowship.

This coming Tuesday, May 21st, is Senior Lunch Bible study at noon at Rolling Meadows Restaurant.

Be mindful of your part in being a blessing to someone today. God has been very good to you. Pass it on.

Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.

Pastor
