Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,
Psalm 71:17-18 “O God, You have taught me from my youth; and to this day I declare Your wondrous works. 18 Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.” Praise God for the many opportunities to declare God’s strength to this generation.
Teen Bible Study meets at Charlie and Brittany’s home tonight at 6:00 p.m. All those in 6th – 12th grades are welcome. Pastor Charlie considers this time a very profitable ministry.
Tomorrow, Friday, November 8th, the teens have a youth activity at the church at 5:00 p.m. called Underground Church. (I have no idea what that’s about.) Contact Pastor Charlie if you have questions..
Pastor Shaeffer has the opportunity to help coach the MBU college basketball team,. Pray for him for strength and safety as they travel Friday and Saturday to their first games.
The adult choir is practicing this Saturday, November 9th at 9:00 a.m.
In adult Sunday School this week we are returning to my walk through the book of Acts. If you want to read ahead, we will be in chapter 22 & 23 this week.
On Sunday morning our study in 1 Timothy has brought us to the topic of “Good Ministers” from 1 Timothy 4:6-16.
We have a Christian Education Committee meeting at 5:00 p.m. this Sunday. Pastor Charlie will be preaching from Philippians 3 this Sunday evening.
Continue to pray for David S in his fight with cancer. Pray too for spiritual understanding. Our missionary Tim S tells us that those arrested for witnessing were fined $25 each and told the next time they would spend 15 days in jail. Pray for their safety and boldness.
Seize this day. The grace of God is bountiful.
