Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: The Shaeffers and Leeds had two good days at the annual meeting of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Baptist Churches hosted by Temple Baptist, LaCrosse. We heard excellent preaching and enjoyed many hours of good conversations with ministry partners from around the state. There were no real surprises in the business meetings. I will look for an opportune time to share the resolutions that were passed with you.
Jeremy has received a report from Friday’s MRI. The good news: no evidence of the nasty things they were looking for. The bad news: no new information on his continued pains. The Shaeffers are hoping he gets referred forward to another specialist soon.
Jeremy says his dad is responding well to the radiation and chemo treatments he has received. He continues to be weak and in need of a miracle to live.
Continue to pray for strength and healing for Jean’s brother George, Patty Fitch, Barb Oechsner, and Tony McCrary.
Pastor Garry and Shirley Thompson will be our guests this Lord’s Day. Garry is the executive director of the New Testament Association of Independent Baptist Churches. He is going to present that organization to us during the Sunday School hour. He is also our preacher in the 10a worship. These good friends accompanied us 12 years ago when we went to Israel.
Five men are traveling to Green Bay for a men’s conference at Bay City Baptist on Saturday. If you would like to take the 6th place in my van, contact me soon. We leave at 7:30a.
School today. Awana tonight! Praise God for the many vibrant ministries of this church and the many hands that make it happen. If you have not a ministry, please join us. The water’s fine.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
