Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 30:11-12 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, 12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever. O may the best that I have – my glory – praise and thank my God.
I pray your family is able to rest and enjoy some good fellowship over the next couple of days. We leave for Minnesota in a couple of hours and are looking forward to this expected break in our routine.
For those of you in town tonight, I encourage you to come together for a time of corporate thanks. A Thanksgiving Service for the whole family will begin at 7:00 p.m. There will be Scriptures read, hymns sung, and a short devotional brought by Pastor Charlie. I thank Roberta and Devin for leading the music. There is no Bible study at the parsonage or Awana tonight.
The Marsh family is using our church building on Saturday as they celebrate the union of Matt and Lilly. Pray for this couple as they begin their steps together as one.
Alex and Nicole Boyle to South Africa will present their ministry this Sunday in adult/teen Sunday School and in our after church dinner service. Yes, Sunday is Church Dinner Day! Bring food enough for your family and a little more and join together for this time of fellowship.
On Sunday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. we are having a whole family activity. We will be decorating the church for Christmas. Bring snacks to share. Come with the agenda of working with your family and the church family in glorifying God through the care of this building.
Wayne B passed away early this morning. Pray for Michelle for comfort and for wisdom as she cares for all the details this brings. Pray for family as the gospel is presented.
May Jesus be glorified in all things.
