Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 40:1-3 I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. 2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. 3 He has put a new song in my mouth— Praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord. I do not like to wait patiently. I don’t like to wait at all. But I do want my feet on a rock and I do want a song in my mouth. So I wait. It’s a matter of trust. This life is not the end game. This journey requires trust and that often means waiting for what I do not know.
My numbers were back up on Monday, so I had the one treatment of my “3rd week.” I see the doctor on Friday and the plan is to begin round 2 of 3 on Monday. I am 1/3 done! Because I only had one drug on Monday, my side-effects are not as complex this week. I am looking forward to the next two weeks in that I am anticipating how I might handle some side effects differently. I am feeling well and able to work a normal schedule this week. Woohoo.
I understand that Lola has her pic line out. One more step to independence.
Kathy posted these prayer requests on Facebook. Steve had heart surgery. A baby named Alicia had heart surgery with complications. And her cousin Tom is having chemo treatments.
Pray for peace for our country. Pray for God to be glorified in us as we are His church and the bride of His Son Jesus. Pray for the ministry of the Word in our church. Praise God for the salvation of Lilly in Awana last Wednesday. She responded to the invitation especially as Jeremy talked about his friend’s daughter’s death. Pray for tonight’s Awana ministry. Pray for our school.
Sing a new song today – one that comes from the new you in Christ.
