Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Note that snow is called upon to Praise the Lord and storms are asked to fulfill His Word. May we join this chorus today! Psalm 148:7-14 Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all the depths; 8 Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word; 9 Mountains and all hills; fruitful trees and all cedars; 10 Beasts and all cattle; creeping things and flying fowl; 11 Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth; 12 Both young men and maidens; old men and children. 13 Let them praise the name of the Lord, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven. 14 And He has exalted the horn of His people, The praise of all His saints— Of the children of Israel, A people near to Him. Praise the Lord!
We thank you who prayed for your pastors in our traveling and time at the recent WFBC retreat. I was encouraged by the Word and the fellowship. Jeremy and Amber did a wonderful job as part of a panel on adoption on Tuesday morning.
We will not have Awana Clubs or Bible study this evening. The weather service and local officials are encouraging people to stay off the roads, so we will do our part. Perhaps spend some time with the Lord and with your family this evening.
Sunday is Church Dinner Day! My after-lunch devos will be Hezekiah Part 2. We return to our 2 adult Sunday School studies: Jeremiah and Ecclesiology at 8:45 a.m. this Sunday. And in the morning service we will consider the actions and words of Jesus in the conversion of Matthew from Mark 2.
Pray for our church: that we might grow in knowledge and practice of God’s Word, that we might mentor those willing to grow to maturity, and that we might be lights in the darkness.
