Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 111:1 “Praise the Lord! I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright and in the congregation.” A believer can praise the Lord alone. We should. But note where the psalmist desired to praise God – with God’s people as they come together.

I praise the Lord for a refreshing Lord’s Day. I was encouraged by the ministry of Missionary Herman. And I enjoyed the fellowship of the church decorating activity. I counted 27 eager workers.

Tomorrow evening is our first Awana Store in our Awana Clubs. This is something the clubbers work towards and really enjoy. Friday, December 1st is Acts 29 – our young adult Bible study. They meet at Brakers at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday morning, December 2nd, we have Men’s Prayer Breakfast. We meet to eat at 8:00 a.m. and then share requests and pray together. We are done before 9:30 a.m.

The ladies (girls) of the church are invited to a Christmas party at the parsonage at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday, December 2nd. Bring an appetizer or desert type food to share and come for a fun time. Secret Pal gifts are often exchanged at this time. A Secret Pal is someone you commit to pray for and extend kindnesses to for one year. Secret Pals are then revealed at this annual party. You do not have to participate in the Secret Pal project to come to Saturday’s activity. If you have questions about either the party or Secret Pals, see Beth or Lin.

Pray for Kathy R. She is receiving radiation treatments for the next 3 weeks on that spot on her back where the tumor was removed. Pray for effective work against her cancer and for her strength and healing. Praise the Lord with her family for the good day at their daughter’s wedding.

Pray for our visitors. Once again we have had many people visit our church ministries recently. They come to us with different agendas and needs. Pray that we as a church family might have the Spirit, wisdom, and strength to minister as God would will.

One more thing. Trinity Baptist Church believes we ought to teach God’s Word in many ways throughout our ministries. This requires trained and dedicated teachers. If you are a church member and would like to be part of the teaching team (Sunday School, Awana, Junior Church, Bible studies) and would participate in a training program, see Beth B. We will be having another teacher training cycle this winter/spring.

Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints. Pastor
