Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,
Psalm 101:3-4 “I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me. 4 A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know wickedness.” A large part of my sanctification walk is choosing to stay away from evil. Note David’s decision to keep wicked things from his eyes. That’s hard to do in our culture! Make this choice and you will be closer to Jesus as a result.
My Dad is still hanging on to this life. I really hoped he would be in heaven by now. Yesterday when I was with him, he was remembering people he had not seen in years. He still knew who I was, at least I think so. Continue to pray for grace for Dad and comfort and strength for Bertie.
Wednesday, November 27th at 7:00 p.m. is our annual Thanksgiving Service. Bring the family for a time of worship and fellowship. Devin will be leading the music and Pastor Charlie is the evening’s preacher.
Take time this week to thank God. Thank Him for your salvation. Thank Him for His Presence. Thank Him for His great love for you. Thank Him for family and country. Give thanks!
