Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: I have had two “good days” in my office already this week! My definition of a good day is when I am able to complete a preparation and get done some busy work that always seems to clutter my desk.
I have been working on my studies on He Will Reign Forever. I have been teaching these lessons during the teen/adult Sunday School hour and also on Wednesday evening during the adult Bible study. We are on Lesson 13 this Wednesday and about half way through. It’s getting exciting as these next couple of lessons deal with Jesus’ first coming and His presentation of the Kingdom of God to Israel. In Sunday School this week we will see how Satan has done his evil best to obstruct God’s kingdom agenda.
The Shaeffers are in Ohio. Mark was having a lot of trouble breathing, but then a couple of clots were “unexplainably” removed! Pray for Jeremy and Amber as they visit Jeremy’s family and in their driving back.
I can’t tell you how excited I am about the great response to our need for workers to serve at Kohler. For those of you who signed up to work, we meet at the church at 3p on Friday to work at Roosevelt Park in Kohler from 4p-10p. (You could meet us there if you’d like.) We meet at the church for rides at 11a on Saturday to work at Kohler from 12p-7p. If you are driving directly to Kohler without meeting at the church, let us know so we know who to wait for!
This Lord’s Day morning I will be in the “Lost” parables of Luke 15.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
