Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Thank you to those of you who prayed for the Leeds and Shaeffers as we travelled and attended the Wisconsin Fellowship of Baptist Churches Pastors & Wives Retreat. We had safe journeys and a beneficial time. Dr. Doug Bookman did a thought provoking job challenging us with the humanity of Jesus and how that impacted His ministry to the disciples. It was an encouraging two days.
Pray for Mrs. Carole Vawter – Dr. Wayne Vawter’s wife. She fell during a snow-shoe activity held during the retreat. She broke both elbows and a wrist. She will need Wayne’s constant care for weeks to come. Carole has much to do with the organization and leadership of the WFBC Ladies’ Retreat that will be held April 3rd-4th at Green Lake Conference Center. Please pray that her pain will be less and that her healing will be complete. She is a great help to many throughout our state fellowship.
This coming Lord’s Day we will learn about the ministry of Junior and Abby Taylor who are on deputation to Mozambique, Africa. They hope to work with and then replace Joel and Joanie Troester – who are currently supported by TBC. Pray for their travel to us and their ministry with us.
This Sunday is Church Dinner Day! It seems awfully early in the month considering we just passed the half way mark, but the 4th Sunday in February comes early this year. Bring something to share with the others who will stay and listen to Junior and Abby as they tell us about their dreams to minister in Africa.
On Sunday afternoon at 2a those in TNT who are going to Awana Olympics will have a practice.
I pray you are having a good week. Serve the Lord. Love Christ’s church. Read God’s Word. Be holy.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
