Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family,
Psalm 62:3-5 “My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense;
I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory; the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.” In a world filled with conflict and false expectations, our Rock and Hope is God. I rejoice to know that what really matters is Unchangeable, therefore: I shall not be moved.
Acts 29, our young adult Bible study, meets at the Braker home tomorrow, November 1st, at 7:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for fellowship and edification.
Saturday, November 2nd, is our monthly Men’s Prayer Breakfast. We eat at 8:00 a.m. and are finished before 9:30 a.m. Boys are welcome. We are having egg bakes. Yes, Andrew, there will be fruit.
We have both Baptism and Lord’s Table this Sunday morning. Katie S is asking to follow Jesus in baptism. I am going to leave 1 Timothy to focus upon the death of Christ because of Lord’s Table.
Our benevolent offering after Lord’s Table this month is for Pastor Siedschlag. I am looking forward to our church being a blessing to his family.
In adult Sunday School, we are going to read the 2024 resolutions of the Wisconsin Fellowship of Baptist Churches. Trinity Baptist is a member of this fellowship. Because the theme of this year’s annual meeting was Biblical ethics, these resolutions cover many societal issues. Come be a part of learning who we as a church are to be in this world.
Both choirs will practice at 5:00 p.m. this Sunday afternoon, November 3rd. Pastor Charlie is our Sunday evening preacher at 6:30 p.m.
Have you voted yet? Have you made your plan to vote? Christians must speak into our culture and voting is one way we should do this. And pray for this election. Pray that God give our country a spirit of repentance. Pray that our children might have liberty to love and serve God without hindrance.
Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.
