Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, To those who prayed for our safety and encouragement during our family trip, thank you. Lin, Sarah, and I enjoyed a quick and refreshing 5 days. We enjoyed the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, and Shedd Aquarium. Spring has come to Kentucky! A lot of spring flowers were blooming, trees were blossoming, many trees were leafing, and we saw someone cutting grass! There is hope for our near future!
Have you prayed for Carolyn and the girls at Megumi?
This Sunday, March 31st, we will not have our normal Sunday School classes. Rather as a church we will remember the death of our Lord Jesus in a Passion Service at 8:45 a.m. Lord’s Table will be part of this service. Then at 10:00 a.m. we will celebrate in Word and song the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. We will not have an evening service this week allowing families to spend time together.
Wednesday, April 3rd, is Awana Grand Prix. The menu for the evening will be burgers and dogs, chips, soda, etc. Come for supper and enjoy the fun. Food and car weigh-in will begin at 5:30 p.m. Devotions will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the racing to being immediately afterwards.
We have moved our March Church Dinner from the last Sunday of the month to the 1st Sunday of April. Partly because of Easter and mainly because we have guests to feed. We look forward to MBU’s 40-voice Chorale joining our church for Sunday School and the Morning Service on April 7th. They will be joining us for our church dinner. Bring plenty of food!
I encourage you to take some time this week to think of the work of Jesus for you on the cross. Perhaps read the last couple of chapters of one or more of the gospels. Then, come join the people of God planning on a blessing.
Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.
