Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!”
Our parking lot was sealed this morning! Right now it is a big black space. I understand it will be striped tonight or tomorrow. If you need to come to the church today or tomorrow, plan on using alternate parking.
The teens are going to see the Dock Spiders tonight. They are enjoying a picnic at McDermott Park at 5:00 p.m. before the game.
Donna Blaine will have heart valve repair surgery tomorrow. They are using a catheter and she hopes to be home on Saturday. Pray for her safety and healing.
Pray for Kathy R and Mollie H as they search for answers. Pray for their healing.
Sunday is Church Dinner Day! Bring a dish to share and come for the food and fellowship. We meet right after morning church. Then we will reconvene in the auditorium at 1:00 p.m. for our annual Congregational Meeting. Meeting agendas and a policy we will consider will be available to pick up on Sunday morning. All members and prospective members are encouraged to attend.
The ladies have a picnic planned in the parsonage backyard on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Bring a dish to share and a heart for conversation.
Boy, we have a lot of picnics and potlucks this week! We must be Baptists!
In Mark 8, Jesus told His disciples to “beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.” What did He mean? In Sunday School I will be in Jeremiah 29 – a letter from Jeremiah to the captives in Babylon.
Serve God. Love one another.
Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints. Pastor
