Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, In our study of King Jehoshaphat on Sunday afternoon and again last night we spent time in 2 Chronicles 17-20. There is a line at the end of chapter 19 that is fun: Behave courageously, and the LORD will be with the good. What an encouragement! On days when I might feel outnumbered or alone, “Be bold, Dan, for the LORD will be with the good.”
Last call for Men’s Prayer Breakfast this Saturday, June 4th at 8:00 a.m. The menu is biscuits and gravy, eggs, and fruit. I got a count of 10 last night at Bible study. If you’d like me to plan on you, please let me know ASAP. We meet at 8, eat and fellowship, and then pray. We are normally done before 9:30 a.m.
At the end of this Sunday’s Lord’s Table we will receive an offering to scholarship our teens to go to camp. I believe Charlie says we have 9 planning to go. The cost is $220 each. If this is something you’d like to help with, you may designate in the general offerings Sunday or give in the second offering.
Bill & Kim S are moving to Fond du Lac, partly to be part of Trinity Baptist Church. They will be unloading a truck starting sometime today at 346 Ellis.
I am going to attach our my record of our prayer requests from Wednesday evening. If you pray, consider these requests.
A special election for Fond du Lac County Executive will be held on Tuesday, June 7th. There are only two polling places in the city of Fond du Lac for this election. If you normally vote at the fairgrounds, vote there. Otherwise you will vote at city hall. You can confirm your voting place by googling My Vote WI. Our former member Sam Kaufman is on the ballot.
Be good. Remember, the Lord will be with the good.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
