Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 119:164 Seven times a day I praise You, because of Your righteous judgments. Note the reason for the praise: because God judges rightly.
Tonight is the last night of Wanted. Our “wanted man” is going to tell of his salvation tonight. I’m looking forward to hearing the story.
Tomorrow, Friday, July 28th, a dozen of us are going to Kohler to serve as a fundraiser. If you are signed up, we need to meet at the church at 3:00 p.m. so we can be there by 4:00 p.m. We are on duty until 9:00 p.m. and should be back here by 10:00 p.m. On Saturday, we need to meet here at 6:00 a.m. so we can be at our post by 7:00 a.m. We are done there at 1:00 p.m. and should return here by 2:00 p.m. Those going should dress for the weather! Wear shoes! No “short-shorts.” They will provide us with a T-shirt, so be prepared to change. Pray for us to be strong in body and stronger in the grace of Jesus.
Sunday is Church Dinner Day! We have aviation missionaries in adult Sunday School. I am preaching on “The Greatest” from Mark 9:38-50. After lunch I will begin my walk through the book of Esther. We have no 6:30 p.m. service this week.
Both Carolyn O and Bill S have surgeries scheduled in August. Continue to pray for healing for Kathy R and Mollie H.
Men’s Retreat is this coming Thursday-Saturday, August 3rd-5th. If you intend to come and have not yet signed up, either let me know or sign up on Sunday. (We need to be able to plan for meals.) You may come for any part of the retreat – one meal or the whole enchilada. We have 5 meals and 3 preaching times scheduled. Bring your lawn chair and anything you want to burn!
May the Word of God direct our steps and keep our hearts close to Jesus.
Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.
