Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: The Trinity Baptist School Christmas program is tonight – 6:30p at the church. The senior high are doing a short reader’s theater and there is going to be good music. We will continue our tradition of taking an offering tonight for a gift to our school’s teaching staff. We have a great and dedicated staff who work for about 1/4th of the compensation of their public school equals.
Tony McCrary had his hip replacement surgery on Monday. I believe that’s his 4th this year! Praise God they found no infection and were able to put in a stronger piece. He will be transported to the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home today for rehabilitation. Pray for his healing and that he will go home soon. Pray for Linda’s strength as she attempts to help him. (Linda has also had two knee replacement surgeries this year!)
Pray for our missionary Joel Troester and the land situation of their church. They hare now being taken to court by the lady who has contested their land ownership. The good news is a local official has put in writing that her documents are false. The bad news is she is likely working with some other corrupt officials who want the land. Pray that God be pleased and praised with the outcome of this case.
I am going to speak on forgiveness this Sunday from the book of Philemon. And woudn’t you know – God is allowing me to have plenty of opportunities to practice this week! “Oh, God help me to respond like Jesus to people who don’t deserve forgiveness.”
Embracing Truth, Pastor
