Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: Tomorrow is Lord’s Table. I encourage you to prepare your heart for correction from God’s Word and worship with the Congregation of God.
We have two adult Bible studies during the 8:45a hour. Jeremy, David, and Tony are leading a class on parenting. Darryl and Charlie are leading a study through the book of Galatians. Darryl has written a devotional commentary with the slant of a narrative. I would encourage you to pick up his work even if you are not able to attend the Sunday School class/study. I have enjoyed it.
Bob Tompkins has asked us to pray for a 6-year-old named Isaiah. Bob writes “He has been sick for over a week and a few days ago they found out he has double lung infection pneumonia and this afternoon he had to be admitted into the hospital. And he’s not doing very well. He has other medical issues like compromised immune system so this is very serious and he could really use all the prayers that he can get and so could his mom.”
Continue to pray for Ross Purcell and healing for his heart. Pray for Gary and Sandy to continue to gain strength.
Praise God that two junior age boys indicated that they received Christ during the invitation Jeremy gave at Awana on Wednesday evening. Pray for Jackson and Josiah – that they will continue to grow in faith and in their knowledge of Jesus.
Grandparents’ Day is next Friday, October 11th at Trinity Baptist School. This is truly an open house and everyone is invited. We will have a soup dinner in the basement at noon followed by a short program in the auditorium. If you RSVP we will be more prepared for you. Let Beth know you are coming – 920-420-8932 or bbraker@trinityfdl.net.\
