Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 122:1 I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.” Tomorrow is the Lord’s Day. During both the morning and evening service tomorrow we will have a staffed nursery.

As she prayed at our breakfast this morning, Lin prayed for peace. I was quickly struck by how desperately we need peace. First, and foremost, we need peace with God. This comes with justification at salvation. Then, we need the peace of God to be evident in our lives. This comes with sanctification as we walk with Jesus. Finally, we need peace with others. This peace comes as we extend the grace given to us by Jesus to all. Today, more than ever, our world and our lives are bereft of peace. “God, give us peace.”
Embracing Truth, Pastor
