Saturday, March 5
First I want to rejoice with you concerning the very successful fundraiser our school had on Thursday. We made and sold 240 quarts of soup! We continue to learn how to promote and facilitate this event. Thank you to the many who supported by donating desserts or purchasing soup!
This Saturday morning we have already had a men’s prayer breakfast and a Ministry Committee meeting. Now, several car loads of Clubbers are in Appleton participating in the Awana Olympics. This is our first run at this competition. I look forward to hearing how it goes.
Tomorrow evening is our Quarterly Congregational Meeting. We will consider the ordination of Jeremy Shaeffer as well as an addition to our Articles of Faith. If you are a member of our church, I hope you will prioritize this meeting.
Kathy Rose is beginning a new treatment in hopes of healing and saving her leg. Please pray with the Roses that this treatment be successful.
We will observe Lord’s Table tomorrow morning. Please pray that our hearts are one with God as we consider the good work of Jesus on our behalf.
Embracing Truth,
Pastor
