Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. Jesus spoke these words on the walk between the upper room and the garden of Gethsemane. Their minds were troubled because Jesus had reminded them again of His death, Judas had left them, and Peter had been rebuked. Seeing their worried faces, Jesus assured them that He was preparing their eternal homes so they could live with Him forever. We ought not be troubled. Jesus is still in charge of the future.
I’ve attached again sermon notes for tomorrow morning. Gather your family for worship. Perhaps you might pray as a family or talk together about the 10:00 a.m. service.
Keep praying for Ross and Carol. Carol is still in the hospital.
We had a good School Committee meeting this morning. I praise the LORD that His work through our church continues to thrive in stressful times. Pray for our church. Pray for the Word of God to be our stay. Pray for wisdom for our government officials. Pray for God’s protection upon your family and our church families.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
