Report on Lauren from Charlie Smith

From our missionary concerning their missionary daughter: Thank you very much for your prayers.  Here is the latest update on Lauren from Ben. Thanks again and please keep praying for them – Charlie & Joann
 
“Thank you so much for all of your prayers and notes over the last little while! It was exactly two weeks ago that Lauren was medically evacuated from Papua New Guinea. Because of the huge stress that her body went through during those 36 hours of anaphylactic shock, she is just now starting to feel “normal” again. She still feels tired out, and she greatly appreciates your prayers as she continues to recover. We spoke to the immunologist today, and he said that all the tests came back negative. We may never know what caused this drastic allergic reaction, but we have peace that God wants us to return to Papua New Guinea. We are safe in His hands. I was able to buy the plane tickets today, so it looks like we will be returning to Goroka on Monday, and then driving back to Tirokave on Wednesday.
