Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 72:18-19 Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who only does wondrous things! 19 And blessed be His glorious name forever! And let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.
I praise the Lord today for yesterday’s joys. We had a good crowd in church. I felt God’s presence. God gave us a “dry” window for our picnic. I counted 73 out at the Mohr’s plantation. The pork and corn were excellent. A great big “thank you” goes to Mohrs, Carters, and all those who helped make it a great day.
We are looking for those who would be willing to serve by teaching Junior Church during the month of September, starting next week. See Charlie or Beth if you are able to get the curriculum. Parents and children greatly appreciate this ministry.
Men’s Prayer breakfast returns to our calendar this coming Saturday, September 3rd. If you have not had a chance to sign up, catch it on Wednesday or contact me. We meet in the church basement to eat at 8:00 a.m. After breakfast we take prayer requests and pray. We are always finished before 9:30 a.m. – usually sooner. Come join in the fellowship and corporate worship of prayer. Boys are welcome.
All Awana Leader should plan to be at a meeting this coming Wednesday, August 31st. Next week, we begin Awana on September 7th. Adult Bible study will move to the parsonage on September 7th. Van and David will lead a study of the Psalms this year. That begins at 6:45 p.m. I will be in 2 Kings 14 this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. We will consider the actions of “the thistle king.”
Pray for one another. Pray for our country. Pray for churches in Wisconsin who do not have a pastor. Pray for believers to witness Christ to those they meet.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
