Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: Wasn’t it weird to stay home yesterday! After a short time together in the book of Malachi, the Leeds used the time to catch up on some stuff around the house and work on our school work. Sunday’s bulletin will be in your box – including a good Parent Update, but to keep you informed here are some events coming up quickly.
The Outreach Committee had scheduled an adult activity for this coming Saturday evening. We were going to Fondy Sports for golf and then to Kelly’s for ice cream. Well, God has changed our plans for us. Please see this announcement from Sue Carter – “Join us for a unique mini golf experience at church this Saturday, April 21 at 6:00p with build-your-own-sundae after. Bring your own “putter.” Anything goes. Be creative. Cost is $3 per person.” They are planning to lay out a golf course in the church. The $3 goes for ice cream and fixin’s. I believe “corn hole’ is also in the plans. So get a babysitter and join us for a great evening of fellowship.
Parents, Awana Clubbers should be reminded that they have two working Wednesdays before Awana Awards. Award night is May 2nd. Check your clubbers books and tell them how many sections they need to complete each of the next two weeks.
Please see Pastor or Beth if you are able/willing to teach children on Wednesday evenings this summer – May 16 to August 29th.
Teens Spring/Senior Banquet is this coming Friday, April 20th at 5:30p. The cost for the evening is $25. Please sign up by this Wednesday if you are coming. See Tony Braker if you have any questions.
Sign up for The Exchange! This exciting seminar on relational evangelism is presented by Jeff and Anna Musgrave. The Exchange Schedule is 9a-2p on Saturday, May 19th, during the Sunday School, Morning and Evening services on May 20th, and then at 6:30p on Monday through Wednesday evenings, May 21-23rd. The cost of the seminar is $30 which includes study materials and lunch on Saturday. This seminar could be life changing for you and Trinity Baptist Church.
Be nice to everyone. Everyone thinks they are having a rough day!
Embracing Truth, Pastor
