Merry Christmas
Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family: Merry Christmas. For some reason that greeting has brought me a smile this season every time I have spoken or heard it. Perhaps I have grown enough in my gratitude that I revel in the goodness of God to us all expressed by “Merry Christmas.” May we each humbly rejoice in God’s grace to us as we celebrate the Incarnation of Jesus.
We have a Candlelight service tonight at 6:00 p.m. There will be good music and Scripture readings. Tomorrow morning, join the church family for sweet breads and coffee at 9:30 a.m. I have titled my Christmas morning message “Characters for Christmas.” I am praying that many are encouraged in their faith by God’s Word.
Pray for those traveling. The Paye family made it safely to Pennsylvania and will be returning on Monday. The Struskas are taking a family vacation following a wedding in Florida. Jean will be traveling to Arizona on Wednesday.
I pray you are able to enjoy some spiritual rest with your family.
Embracing Truth,
Pastor
