Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Revelation 2:10 “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer …” After saying this to the church of Smyrna, Christ tells them of the terrible things that are in their future. I am so glad God has not told me of the evil ahead for me! The command to Smyna and to us is: Do not fear! God told Joshua, “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you where ever you go.” Do not fear. Don’t be afraid. Be strong. Don’t be discouraged. God repeats these injunctions often in Scripture. The opposite of fear is trust. Believe God and fear dissipates.
Pray for Patsy’s mom, Deloris. She broke her ankle last week. She will have surgery tomorrow, Wednesday, to repair the break if the swelling has been reduced enough. Pray for my aunt Sharon. She will have hip replacement surgery on Monday. Pray for Jean to be strong. The last I knew she was still at St. Agnes this weekend. Tom G’s ear is still plugged. Pray for a doctor to know how to help him. Pray for Andy M and Natalie as they get married on Saturday.
Our school goes to Jr/Sr High WACS on Friday of this week. Pray for the young people to be encouraged as they compete. Pray for the success of our auction on March 18th. Many are working hard to procure items. Pray for a good turn out and willing bidders. I believe our page on biddingowl.com is to open on Friday, March 11th.
I know it’s early in the week, but put in your mind that daylight saving begins this Sunday. You don’t want to be late for Sunday School!
