When I boarded the plane in Sucre and realized the finality of the fact that I would be residing in Santa Cruz, I couldn’t help but think, “And so the new adventure begins!” I had no idea how much so.

Why did Jesus not grieve at the death of the girl?

I want to thank everyone for praying for my visit with Arvil Price. It was an interesting visit to say the least. His first comment to me was that he had thought I was still going to be a little girl. I surprised him on both counts!
Pray for Principal Shaeffer and the seniors of Trinity Baptist School as they are leaving today for Gatlinburg, TN. They have been raising money all year by making specialty pizzas on Fridays. Recently they have put in some long hours at Pizza Ranch and by selling themselves for various work projects. The boys and Mr.
Praise the Lord! The University of Iowa called us today to let us know that things had been basically resolved. We have an appointment with the oncologist here in town again on Monday morning to finalize details of Athena’s chemo. We need to pick a day of the week that all of Athena’s treatments will fall on.
7 ladies, 15 small children, and one baby sitter. The church is a busy place this morning. How wonderful that the church building is being so used.
