Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 111:2 “The works of the Lord are great, studied by all who have pleasure in them.” Our affection for the work of God demands our attention to those works. Whether creation or salvation or His Providence, God’s work is worthy of our focus today.
We rejoice in God’s healing for several people. Carolyn O texted me last evening to say that her adrenal gland has started working. She said the Doctor said it was going to take a while to get her strength back. Joe C reports that his nephew’s surgery went very well. AJ is already moving and feeling better. Sue S kidney stones were able to be broken up. She has an appointment to remove a stent on April 1st.
Along with these praises we have continuing health needs. Baby Emma will see a doctor again next week to determine the best course of action. Suzanne G and Mary Kay M are still healing. David O is again sick with a virus or cold of some kind.
Today is the last day at TBS until April 1st. Spring break!
I had to call the police today because of some ongoing petty vandalism at the church. It reminds me that we need to pray for our country and our community. People desperately need the Lord Jesus.
Even as the US is pushing for a UN resolution promoting a cease fire in Gaza, I remind us that there are perhaps still over 100 hostages held by Hamas. Today is Day 167 of their captivity. Pray for those people and their families. Pray that the Christians in Gaza and Israel might be the Body of Christ in power. Also pray for the safety of our missionary in Ukraine – Rebekah F.
Pastor Charlie will be preaching from Psalm 96 this Sunday morning. Pastor Shaeffer will begin the book of Nehemiah on Sunday evening.
May you consider the work of God in your life this day.
Embracing Truth. Equipping Saints.
