Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! That’s the last verse of the book of Psalms. I often read a psalm at the end of my breakfast and I finished my walk through again this morning. But you know what’s cool? I get to start over again! I love Psalm 1 and Psalm 2, they set the table for the rest of the book! As a Christian, my walk with Jesus should never be dull or finished. When I get done with one thing, it is time to start again. Just like there is always another psalm to read, there is always something new to learn. There is always another way to grow and change. There is always another truth about God or His plans for me that I had not considered or had just forgotten. So Praise the LORD. I have another day to serve my Savior.
The ladies of the church have a picnic tomorrow, Saturday, June 18th. Bring a dish to pass and join in the fun at McDermott Park pavilion at 11:00 a.m. Young and old, all are welcome.
Then our Senior Bible study will also have a picnic on this coming Tuesday. We will meet at the Deneveu Shelter on Harbor View Drive. Drink and table service will be provided. Bring a dish to share. I’m planning to bring a main dish.
Our annual meeting is on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. It’s a Church Dinner Day. We will take a short break and return to the auditorium for the meeting. If you have a report of a ministry or something you believe ought to be part of the meeting, get it to Beth or I by Wednesday the 22nd.
I believe millions will receive Jesus as Savior during the darkest days of this planet’s history, during the Tribulation. This Sunday we will examine who these witnesses and converts will be.
Enjoy the sunshine. I heard on the radio this morning that the next 10 days will be the longest daylight of the year. Revel in what we have today!
Pray for one another.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
