Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, First, business. The annual report prepared for the Congregational Meeting of June 28, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. is ready. Members may pick up an envelope with their family name on it containing a report and ballots for adult members. Extra copies of the report and ballots are on the back table. The purpose of preparing these things in advance is to make the meeting available to those who cannot be in the room during the meeting. We will livestream the meeting. Family envelopes not picked up on by this Monday will be mailed. Ballots need to be returned to me or a Ministry Committee member by the time of the meeting in order to be counted.
Then, I ask you to pray for the City of Fond du Lac. I ask you to pray for mercy and truth. Much division and anger was evident at the Council meeting on Wednesday. Threats have been consequently directed at a Councilor. Pray for mercy, truth, and peace. Pray that God and His Word be glorified in our City.
Dr. David Saxon is our preacher in adult Sunday School and our morning service this week. The last time he was at TBC he preached a series on the men of the Reformation. Every time I have heard David, he has always been an encouragement to me.
On Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. we are going to talk about traveling to Israel. Everyone is encouraged to come to church. There will be something for all. But you should especially come if you might be interested in traveling to Israel in the near future. We will also have a Men’s Meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
On Tuesday, Trinity Baptist School will celebrate the graduation of Abby Veldman. We delayed this a month ago and now her family and friends are able to celebrate with her. I would encourage the church family to join us at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
