Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 118:24 “This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” God is the Creator of this day. I am determined to use it for His glory. In the context of Psalm 118, the day in consideration is the day of the rejection of the Cornerstone – Jesus. Even when righteousness is rejected, we ought to rejoice in God’s ownership of everything.
My Kiwanis friend Marlin passed away last evening. He attended Trinity Baptist for a year after Covid before his home church opened up completely. I believe he had a relationship with Jesus. Pray for his family and for me in whatever opportunities I may have to serve his family and friends.
Kathy R is back in Chicago receiving radiation treatments. Joey E is much improved. Continue to pray for Carolyn O. Pray too for the many in our ministry who are dealing with virus symptoms.
Pastor Shaeffer is attending a federal mandated seminar on asbestos on Thursday and Friday. Pray for his safety, understanding, and for our school in his absence.
As I look at the calendar, I see several Bible studies for different people in the weeks ahead. There are also several programs. Pray for God’s word to be powerful among us during these busy days. Pray for visitors to attend our special events. Invite your friends to come!
