Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, In Revelation 1:1 we learn that God is giving Christ a revelation to show His servants things which must shortly take place. And then a couple of verses later we read that the time is near. 2,000 years later we are still waiting. Bible believers have always believed that Jesus could return in their lifetime. I’ve talked with many Christians in the past couple of years who point to various current events and attitudes and say, “Jesus must return soon.” And so He shall. I am working today in the anticipation of His coming. I want to be found occupied with the Father’s business. May we as a church serve the Lord Jesus with great anticipation.
Jean W moved to Sage Meadows at 597 Kingswood Ave, Fond du Lac, WI 54935. She tells me she is getting around better and hopes to be back home ASAP.
Continue to pray for Rebekah, our missionary in the Ukraine. We read on fb that she is safe and doing well. Pray too for the Taylors, that they might receive their visas for Mozambique.
We had a busy mid-week. We had more people at Awana and Bible study (103) than we did on Sunday morning (99). Praise God for the many leaders who are willing to sit down with young people and teach them God’s Word. May their tribe increase!
Sunday is Church Dinner Day! Bring enough for your family and a little more for our potluck. The afternoon thoughts will be from 1 Kings 15. Darryl is doing a great job in adult Sunday School teaching on “The Drama of Job.” I begin a walk through Revelation this Sunday morning.
Thursday, February 3rd is Souped Up! If you’d like to have soup reserved for you, turn in your request to Beth this Sunday. We will be open on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. for pick up. Quarts are $10. Come by and pick up your order or whatever is available.
