Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 142:1-2 “I cry out to the Lord with my voice; with my voice to the Lord I make my supplication. 2 I pour out my complaint before Him; I declare before Him my trouble.”
Please pray.
We learned this morning that Holly V, mom of our two TBS seniors, has Guillain–Barré syndrome (GBS) probably the Miller Fisher syndrome (MFS) form. This is a very rare disease where the immune system attacks the nervous system. Holly went from a cold virus last week to eye trouble on Monday to not being able to walk on Tuesday morning. She was on a ventilator in ICU by Wednesday evening. Treatment has begun and, from what I read, full recovery can be expected although it may take months. Neil and Holly are a godly couple. They and their children have been a huge blessing to our school and staff. Please pray for Holly and her family. Pray that God might give great strength through this deep valley.
We learned Wednesday evening that Linda M was in the hospital. I went by to see her yesterday. At that time she still was not sure what was wrong. Later yesterday I understand that she told people that she was having her gall bladder removed. Pray that this resolves her health issues and that she recovers quickly.
Kathy R saw a doctor in Madison who said that surgery was not going to help because the nodules in her lungs will keep returning. She will have a scan on Wednesday that will tell if they have grown. Pray for a remedy. Pray for her strength and recovery from past treatments. Pray for wisdom to know where to find help.
David said, “I declare before Him my trouble.” Let’s declare before God these troubles of our friends.
