Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, First, I’ll be selfish and talk about me. The oncologist says my blood work and CT look good. No sign of cancer. He does want to see me again in 3 months because of junk they see in my lungs – likely residue from COVID pneumonia (his words). It ought to be gone in 3 months! So, praise the Lord with me. It is time to act like I am healthy. Thank you for your concern and prayers.
Jean W is home! She has been busy with doctors since she got back. She has a wound from a fall in AZ that is slow to heal. Also she is fighting spine pain. Pray for her health.
The last I heard from Kathy R her great nephew was fighting for his life. Pray that they can get his liver figured out and that his “numbers” will go where they ought to go.
The Schueller and Braker families are fighting spring colds. Pray they get healthy quickly. We missed them at Awana!
Last night we had a good meeting about our projector/sound system. We hope to get some new equipment soon.
Tomorrow morning we have a Building/Grounds Committee meeting. Pray for God’s wisdom for us.
We have a missionary from Egypt on the Lord’s Day. He will be presenting his ministry during the Sunday School hour. I am preaching from Daniel 5 in the morning service – Belshazzar’s Feast. On Sunday evening at 5:00 p.m. we have a Finance Committee to get the ball rolling for next year’s general fund budget. Then, in the evening service, Pastor Shaeffer will be preaching from Luke. A full day!
Pray for our country. Pray for our church to win souls to Jesus. Pray for all of us to obey God’s Word. Pray for patience and love.
Embracing Truth, Pastor
