Dear Trinity Baptist Church Family, Psalm 8:3-6 “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? 5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.” When we compare ourselves to God’s great creation, we are insignificant in scope. Yet, God put humans in charge, gave us dominion. How am I using the authority today that God has given me?

Praise God for the opportunities of edification and fellowship afforded us on this past Lord’s Day. I was encouraged by comments made to me by those who listened on line. Our children’s choir sang last evening and our Congregation met for its quarterly meeting. The next scheduled Congregational meeting is our annual meeting on June 25th.

Tomorrow, April 18th, at noon is our monthly Senior Lunch and Bible study. We will order off the menu at Rolling Meadows and then after fellowship and lunch we will look at Colossians 2:18-25 – “Don’t Be Cheated.” We have about 20 at this lunch most months. Come join us.

Wednesday is the 2nd to the last regular Awana Club for this year. Awana Banquet and Awards are on May 3rd.

Thursday is a special night. Trinity Baptist School will present its Spring Showcase at 6:30 p.m. There will be music selections from our WACS academic competitions, science and STEM projects on display, and cookies! Come learn what is going on and support our school.

This coming Lord’s Day, April 23rd, we will hear a short presentation from the ministry of the Gideons during the morning service. We will take a second offering after the church service to give to this ministry.

May your heart be encouraged today as you consider God’s Word. I am traveling to Lake Mills today to participate in a book study. I look forward to this time of having my mind sharpened in fellowship with others also burdened with similar ministries.
