The Maranatha Baptist Bible College men’s soccer team is coming to Trinity Baptist this coming Lord’s Day – and not to play soccer. They are going to sing for us. They will bring specials during Sunday School opening and the morning service. During the Sunday School hour our adults teachers will be teaching Holy Spirit filling – Ephesians 5:18-21.

WACS basketball tournament is history

Both our guys’ and girls’ basketball teams came home from the WACS Tournament with 4th place finishes. Though they played well, they both suffered two losses at the tournament. All State recognition went to Savannah Westra, Charlie Leeds, and Justin Eckberg. Jerome Vogt was on the All Tournament team. Some of us can’t help but be a little disappointed with the results of the tournament.

Joey Clapp – missionary to Russian-speaking Jews in New York City – will be our guest minister in the adult Sunday School hour and again the the 6:30p service. In the 10a time I will continue our “Faith that Works” series in James. We are in chapter 3:1-12 and will be talking about the words we say. Men’s and Ladies will meet at 5:30p.

A big week of Basketball at Trinity Baptist School

The Patriots had a very busy week of basketball. On Monday the guys lost a competitive game with Wyldewood Baptist Church. On Tuesday the girls won two games (elementary and junior high) over St. Pauls’ in Brownsville. Then on Thursday the guys won an exciting contest against the All-Stars of Rawhide.
