This past Lord’s Day we were honored to have Nestor Lubuguin as our guest minister. Nestor has been a missionary staff member of TBC for over 20 years. He pastors a church in the Philippines that has started over 20 other churches. His daughter and son-in=law were also with us for the morning. They are on deputation to go to the Philippines as church planters. Nestor did an excellent job with the Word of God during the Sunday School hour.
In the morning service I continued our series in James. I have been caught up by the truth of this chapter like never before in my life. It has been a great joy to consider the demands on my life that result from the truth that “He gives more grace.”
Sunday evening Jeremy Shaeffer was our preacher. Again, the Word of God was handled with skill and care. And, again, my heart was richly blessed.
