Church Ministry: Mom Time: About a dozen moms of young children meet together at the church every other Thursday morning at 9a for encouragement and edification.

Church-supported Missionary: Lloyd and Athena Peace: Julia, Jessica, Jacob, Lucas
The Peace family is currently on furlough – living in Ottumwa, Iowa where the children are enrolled in a Christian School.
Athena has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Her surgery was this past Wednesday. Chemotherapy is planned to begin in about two weeks.

David & Carolyn Olson
David is Sales Manager at Service Motors. Carolyn babysits grandchildren and others in her home.
David is head usher and Awana Commander. Carolyn is Awana secretary and leads our women’s committees.

Lisa Olson
Lisa works for Charter Communications. She and her sister Amber also have a business called Finding Eden.

Bill & Karen Pickering: Maggie and Arrianna.
Bill is employed at Society Insurance. Karen works at the Blue Goose Coffee Shop.
Maggie is attending Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, Iowa.

A big week of Basketball at Trinity Baptist School

The Patriots had a very busy week of basketball. On Monday the guys lost a competitive game with Wyldewood Baptist Church. On Tuesday the girls won two games (elementary and junior high) over St. Pauls’ in Brownsville. Then on Thursday the guys won an exciting contest against the All-Stars of Rawhide. This was our last home game, so Mr.

The Heritage Singers of Maranatha Baptist Bible College are our guests this Lord’s Day morning. They will be singing and ministering to us during the Sunday School hour and singing a package during the morning service. In the morning service I will be preaching from Romans 10. After considering God’s Mercy in Romans 9 we see that “faith” and “belief” are the means of our access to mercy.
