Again I am proving that I am better at traveling and teaching then I am at cyber communication 🙂 I tried while in Texas visiting our daughter & son-in-law to update you on the blessing of the birth of our first grandchild (son) Caden Jonathan Kauffman (Katy & Jordan’s first born son).
In working on the homework for next week’s Sunday School lesson on God the Son I came across “for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross” A cross is never the source of joy. The cross is endured because of the joy. The key is in keeping the joy before us. We are most like Jesus when joy is larger than the cross.
The first 9 years I pastored TBC I attended Heart Conference at Northland every year. Then I went to Israel one year. The next year dad and I went the Leadership Conference held at Calvary in PA. Then I got busy teaching. So I have not been back for 9 years!
We are back in our Embracing Truth Series. God the Father is our focus in Sunday School and in the morning service.
