Last Sunday was one of the coldest days of our winter so far, with a blizzard causing whiteout conditions. It was one of those Sunday mornings where I thought we would be doing well if even half of our usual Sunday morning congregation could come. What a pleasant surprise when all of our regulars braved the elements, and we had visitors too.

Greetings from Maputo. Yes, we have survived “rounding the corner of life,” moving from deputation and packing the container and suitcases to arriving here in Mozambique. With a tremendous group of helpers from our home church, we were able to load our container on February 16th.

Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead. We will know who forgets by looking to see who walks into church in the middle of the preaching! Summer is coming!
