Rejoice with Susie!

Just a note to let you know I have arrived safely to Zambia. It is good to be “home” all though there is much to do to get my home back in order after being shut up for thirteen months, and ministry awaits me at Grace Baptist Church. The Lord was so good to allow me to make all my flight connections and my two 50 pound suitcases arrived with me. No hassles getting through customs.

Teaching at Trinity Baptist

I was greatly edified by the teaching that took place yesterday at Trinity Baptist. Tom did a good job in adult Sunday School. He had prepared well and had a lot of visuals for us.

Then Regan did an excellent job last evening. What a great sermon from Proverbs 6. I was writing all over my Bible. And I have some study I want to do because of his sermon.

Dispensationalism

As we have studied the book of Acts this summer I have been surprised by the Dispensational truths that has been jumping out of the text at me. During this time I have also monitored debate on a blog called Sharper Iron. Recently Dr. Kevin Bauder posted an article on that blog examining whether churches should include specific doctrinal positions on eschatology in their doctrinal statement.
